ABOUT US

OUR ORIGIN

We officially started trading as Pole Fit Mackay back in March 2017. We had a small humble home based studio-room with one pole where we conducted private 1 on 1 and small group lessons. With an overwhelming response from students, it was time to search for a location to provide a larger studio to the pole students of Mackay. We officially opened our studio doors in February 2018.

OUR VALUES

We highly value education and training, and are constantly up-skilling our knowledge and techniques. Our ciriculum is based in accordance with IPDFA Pole Pro Instructor courses. This a recognized fitness accreditation which provides training and certification to pole instructors globally to ensure the highest safety standards are met and maintained. You can be assured you will receive an amazing experience in a safe, judgement free environment no matter what your fitness goals are.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN CLASSES?

BENIFITS OF POLE FITNESS

Pole dance and fitness has gained popularity as a form of exercise with increased awareness of the benefits to general strength and fitness. These forms of exercise increases core and general body strength by using the body itself as resistance, while toning the body as a whole. A typical pole dance exercise regimen in class begins with strength training, dance-based moves, squats, push-ups, and sit-ups and gradually works its way up to the spins, climbs and inversions. Pole dancing is also empowering in terms of building self-confidence.
